Privacy policy
Effective date: September 5, 2026
This Notice explains how Crease Protectors LLC, a Texas limited liability company (“Crease Protectors,” “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal data when a person visits CreaseProtectors.com, creates an account, orders, contacts us, submits content, or interacts with marketing.
1. Personal data collected
Depending on the interaction, we may collect:
- identifiers and contact information such as name, email, phone, addresses, account identifier, and credentials;
- order and commercial information such as products viewed or purchased, history, returns, refunds, warranties, preferences, and communications;
- payment and transaction information, while complete card or account information is generally processed by a payment provider;
- device and internet activity such as IP address, browser, device, operating system, cookie or ad identifiers, referrals, pages, clicks, approximate IP-derived location, and ad interactions;
- marketing preferences, campaign interactions, likely interests, and shopping or browsing audience segments;
- submitted reviews, photographs, videos, surveys, warranty photographs, and communications; and
- fraud and security information.
We do not intentionally collect biometric identifiers, Social Security numbers, driver’s-license numbers, government IDs, precise geolocation, or health information through ordinary store operations.
2. Sources
We collect data directly from a person; automatically from a browser or device; from Shopify, payment providers, fulfillment partners, carriers, support providers, and fraud-prevention providers; from analytics, advertising, and marketing partners; and from social-media services when chosen by the person.
The marketing-email list consists only of people who opt in directly with Crease Protectors. We do not treat a Shoe Shields LLC customer list as a Crease Protectors opt-in list.
3. Uses
We may use data to operate the site; provide products; process payment; fulfill and deliver orders; manage accounts, returns, refunds, warranties, and support; send order, security, service, or permitted marketing communications; honor unsubscribe choices; measure and improve the site and products; personalize content and advertising; conduct analytics and targeted advertising; prevent fraud and security incidents; enforce agreements; protect rights and safety; and comply with legal, tax, accounting, and recordkeeping duties.
4. Disclosures
We may disclose data as reasonably necessary to Shopify and infrastructure providers; payment and fraud providers; warehouses, fulfillment providers, postal services, and carriers; support, email, marketing, and communication providers; analytics, social-media, and advertising partners including Meta, Google, and TikTok; advisers, auditors, and insurers; authorities when legally required or needed to protect rights and safety; and a buyer or successor in a business transaction.
Service providers may use data only as allowed by contracts and law. Third parties acting for their own purposes are responsible for their privacy practices.
5. Targeted advertising; sale or sharing
We do not sell personal data for money. We use the Meta/Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics or Google Ads, and TikTok Pixel. Those tools may receive device and cookie identifiers, internet activity, and marketing information. Some state laws may define these disclosures as a “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising even without monetary payment.
Where applicable, opt out by selecting Your Privacy Choices in the site footer or emailing support@creaseprotectors.com with the subject Privacy Opt Out. Shopify’s native privacy controls provide the consent and privacy-choice interface.
We process legally recognized universal opt-out preference signals where required and technically associable with the browser or device.
We do not sell sensitive personal data or biometric data. If that changes, we will provide notice and obtain required consent beforehand.
6. Cookies
We and providers use cookies, pixels, tags, software development kits, local storage, and similar technologies for site functions, preferences, measurement, fraud prevention, analytics, and advertising.
Manage nonessential technologies through Your Privacy Choices and browser controls. Blocking technologies may affect site functions. Browser settings do not necessarily communicate a legally valid opt-out, so use the site tool where available.
7. Email and text marketing
Unsubscribe from marketing email through the message link or by contacting us. Unsubscribing does not stop transactional or service messages about an order, account, warranty, security issue, or policy change.
Text messages (mobile information). We collect your mobile number only when you affirmatively opt in through our sign-up form, site pop-up, or an optional unchecked box at checkout. Consent to marketing texts is never a condition of purchase. If you opt in, you may receive recurring automated marketing messages (such as product drops, restocks, sales, discount codes, and cart reminders) and transactional messages (such as order confirmations and shipping updates). Message and data rates may apply; message frequency varies. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help. Full program terms are in our SMS Terms & Conditions.
We do not sell, rent, share, or otherwise provide your mobile phone number, SMS opt-in data, or text-messaging consent to any third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
8. Privacy rights
Subject to law and exceptions, a person may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a portable copy of personal data; opt out of targeted advertising, sale or sharing, or certain profiling; limit certain sensitive-data uses; and appeal a request decision.
Submit requests through Your Privacy Choices or email support@creaseprotectors.com, describing the right and state of residence. We may authenticate the request. We do not discriminate for exercising a privacy right. Authorized agents may act where law permits, subject to proof and verification.
For an authenticated Texas request, we respond without undue delay and generally within 45 days, subject to a permitted extension. Appeal a denial by emailing support@creaseprotectors.com with the subject Texas Privacy Appeal. We will respond to a Texas appeal within 60 days after receipt. If the appeal is denied, we will provide Texas Attorney General complaint information.
9. Retention and security
We retain data only as long as reasonably necessary for fulfillment, service, warranty administration, fraud prevention, disputes, legal compliance, tax and accounting, and enforcement. Retention depends on data type, relationship, legal requirements, security needs, and limitation periods. We delete or deidentify data when no longer reasonably needed unless law permits or requires retention.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the data. No transmission or storage method is completely secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
10. Children and third-party sites
The site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. Email support@creaseprotectors.com if a child may have provided data. Only an adult at least 18 or the age of legal majority may order or create an account.
Third-party links are governed by those parties’ privacy practices.
11. Changes and contact
We may update this Notice and its effective date. For a material change, we provide additional notice or obtain consent where required.
