In Your Shoes in Under a Minute
1. Check the marking
Every shield is stamped L or R and with its size. Getting left and right backwards is the one mistake people make.
2. Slide it in, curved side up
Open the shoe, hold the curved surface toward the roof of the toe box, and push forward until it meets the inside of the toe.
3. Seat it and go
Press it flush against the upper so the rear legs lie flat. No adhesive, and it comes out as easily as it went in.
Frequently asked questions
Will they fit my shoes, and what size do I need?
Three sizes cover men's 6-14 and women's 7-15. Small is men's 6-9, Medium is 9.5-12, Large is 12.5-14. Pick by shoe size, not foot measurement, and if you're between sizes, size down. Fit depends on how a particular shoe is built, so every shield has marked trim lines you can cut along for a narrower shoe.
Can you see them when the shoe is on?
No. The shield sits entirely inside the toe box. Nothing protrudes, and the outside of the shoe looks exactly as it did.
Do crease protectors actually work?
They reduce the folding that causes creasing while you're wearing them. They won't reverse creases that have already set, and they don't make a shoe indestructible. What they do is slow down how fast new creases form.
What is the return policy?
You have 30 days from delivery to send them back, and we cover the return shipping with a prepaid label. Try them on and walk around in them — that's what the 30 days are for. One thing to know before you cut: trimmed shields can't be returned, though they're still covered by the one-year guarantee.
Which shield do I need — Flex or Armor?
Flex for tailored, close-fitting shoes: oxfords, derbies, loafers, Chelsea boots and low-profile trainers. Armor for structured sneakers with a deep toe box: Jordans, Air Force 1s, Dunks and high-tops. If you own both kinds, the Combo Pack is two pairs — one of each.
When will I get my order?
In-stock orders are handed to the carrier within one business day. Once your order ships you'll get an email with tracking. Delivery time from there is the carrier's estimate, which is shown at checkout.

How much does shipping cost?
Standard shipping is free on orders of $50 or more. Below $50, Standard shipping is a flat $8.00 and Express is $15.00. Both rates are shown at checkout before you pay. We ship to all 50 states and Washington, D.C.
One-Year Guarantee Against Cracking
If an Ultimate Shield cracks under normal use within a year of delivery, send us a photo and your order number and we'll replace it free, shipping included. Trimming along the marked lines doesn't affect your cover.
