Ultimate Sole Protectors — Clear Sneaker Outsole Film

Ultimate Sole Protectors are a crystal-clear adhesive film that goes on the bottom of your sneakers. The film takes the dirt, scuffs and wear that would otherwise hit the rubber itself, so the outsole underneath stays closer to the way it looked new. Peel it off when you are done and it lifts away without residue.

How to apply

1. Trace. Lay the film against your outsole and mark the shape.
2. Cut. Cut along your outline with sharp, heavy-duty scissors.
3. Heat. Heat is recommended for best results. A few seconds with a hair dryer softens the film so it conforms to the curve of the sole and bonds properly. Applying it cold is the most common reason a set does not stick well.
4. Apply and press. Peel the backing, press onto a clean, dry sole, and work outward from the centre so the edges seat firmly.

To remove, lift one edge and peel slowly.

What is in the pack

• One size — you trim it to fit (fits men’s 5–14)

• Removable, no residue

Before you order

• The film is not pre-cut. You trace and cut it to your own sole, and it is thick material — set aside a few minutes per pair and use good scissors. That thickness is what lets it stand up to pavement.
• Trace, cut and heat application is recommended for best results.
• Works best on flat or lightly textured outsoles. Deeply lugged or heavily sculpted soles are harder to cover cleanly.
• Once a set has been trimmed to your shoe, it cannot be returned.
• Imported. Our Ultimate Flex Shields and Ultimate Armor Shields are made in the USA; Ultimate Sole Protectors are not.

Not the same as our Shields

Ultimate Sole Protectors guard the bottom of the shoe. Ultimate Flex Shields and Ultimate Armor Shields sit inside the toe box and help reduce creasing. Many customers use both.
